This is my Yummy Sunday Entry, Ampalaya or better known as Bitter Melon/Gourd. I never like eating this before but miracle of miracles, I forced myself to eat this very rich in iron vegetable and fortunately, I succeeded. Believe me, it was only late 2009 when I began eating this. I even cooked this myself and I've got to thank Knorr soysauce also for making this food a much tastier to eat.

Your ampalaya looks yummy and colorful. Ampalaya is one of my favorite vegetable.
I don't like ampalaya before too! Actually, I don't eat a lot of vegetables, and I used avoid it as much as I can.. :D But when I got married, I started eating it and it's not that bad at all... :D Now, the 2 veges that I hated and never tried to eat before I got married, okra and ampalaya are my favorite veges now... :D
I cook something kind of similar to this every week, because I'm told ampalaya is also great for the skin, I put ground beef in it and egg, as well as the ampalaya, but skip the tomatoes because B is allergic... but it tastes just as good... :D Chakai and Lucas loves it! :)
